I think it boils down to the French connection with Nissan imho. He hates the French even more then Americans. With Nissans ties to Renault he naturally hates all things Nissan. You can hear his vitriol towards that fact in one of his reviews of the 350z.

I predict ole pumpkinhead Clarkson will hate it and Vicki will have an orgasm with it. She absolutely loved the HR Z. I love her too. AK350z shes mine. I saw her first

SnakeBitten, that's a good point. But Jeremy does give respect where it's due. Well, let's hope that at very least he lets it go round the track in the Stig's hands.

The reason the new Z is so attractive to me is that it appears to be a much better drivers car - stiffer chassis, more steering feel, etc. The less that gets between me and the direct controls of the car, the better. Logically, you would assume that I am not interested in the GT-R. And you'd be right - I find it boring.

I'm not looking for a flame war, just voicing my opinions that work for me.

ok, you just explained the whole point of a Z and a G.

the Z is meant for ppl who want just power/performance
and the G is for ppl who want luxury and luxury cars all have power with them.

I don't think Jeremey Clarkson will like it, but it doesn't really matter.

Awesomely amazing show, though.
