June 2009 370Z sales reported.....

Another notch down for 370Z sales....June 2009 was an 11.3% increase over June 2008 sales of only 830 units. This means that June 2009 sales were around 924 cars, down from the 1278 Zs sold in May, 2009.

Anyone have all current sale months of the 370z?
Such as:
January -
February -
etc.

Just wondering what the total is and break down of months are.

cave vulture 07-01-2009 03:25 PM

First 6 months 370Z sales .....

Jan. - 1280, Feb. - 1452, Mar. - 1632, Apr. - 1561, May - 1278, Jun. - 924

SiXK 07-01-2009 03:29 PM

are these worldwide sales or US sales?

cave vulture 07-01-2009 03:30 PM

I believe these are Nissan North America sales....

That's odd...

The dealership I bought mine from sold *4* last month, including mine...

There are most likely several factors weighing on June 2009 370Z sales. Besides the economy, you have the incentive giveaways at GM and Chrysler, plus the Camaro hit dealers showrooms........

The new camaro, the more I look at it, the more I'm glad I didn't get it.

At some angles it looks great - others, not so good...

From a Nissan Corporate viewpoint, in addition to the above factors dragging down sales, there is the Infiniti cannibalizing 370Z sales.

I think March is a nice peak with April just below because a lot of orders were placed in January/February and with the three month wait it would be sales right then. Now all the hype is gone and talk of the Nismo/Convertible Z might have people holding back on buying. Plus we are in those fine months where people might just say, well lets wait for the 2010 now.

xiven 07-01-2009 04:03 PM

maybe holding off til the end of the year or close to it like me

most people here are spending their money on going on vacation right now

to each his own

cave vulture 07-01-2009 04:29 PM

Of course last June you could also say buyers would be holding off for the entirely new model 370Z, yet they still sold only 830 350Zs. Nissan cannot be happy with only 924 sales in June 2009.

I wonder how these numbers compare to other sports cars sales

FricFrac 07-01-2009 06:29 PM

It would be nice to know how many of these are Canadian vehicles. The rumours I've heard is about 250 with another 100 coming for this model year. Anyone have the real numbers?
