Short Dudes

Short dudes, question, does the seat belt in your Z ride up and around your neck asking to be pushed to the side like it does me?

I'm about 5'7" and this happens frequently. Not unbearable, just slightly annoying. Any tips? I tried looking in the manual to understand how the arm that holds the belt works, but it looks like it is just to hold it out so it is easier to reach.

Thanks!

You can raise the seat with the knobs on the side of the seat?

^ This.

I'm 5'8-5'9 and the seat belt has never bothered me. I think you just need to adjust your seat properly.

...and since when is 5'7 short? Do you work in the WNBA?

It's not particularly short (also 5'7" here), but it depends who you're around too.

When I was traveling through Europe over the summer, I passed through Amsterdam. Good god -- nearly everyone was of Brobdingnagian stature :icon14:

Even most of the women were over 6' tall :eekdance:

I felt like a hobbit among ents :icon17:

LOL!

Cool, I will try and raise the seat a little more than I already have.

I know a few people shorter than me, but I always have considered myself short. I could care less though. You don't need to be tall to make a living in IT! :P

Thanks for the input everyone! :tiphat:

My dad was 5' 10" and I was as tall as he was when seated.

nmjaxx9 10-15-2012 09:59 PM

im 6'4 and the Z actually has a lot more room then I thought, more leg room then my altima. Now my thunderbird was a another story :driving:

FYI - the seatbelt mount on the wall is also adjustable... push it down to get it out of your face.
