Stay away from Performance Nissan

Hey , been having high oil consumption in ma 2010 40th .
So went to performance Nissan in duarte Ca to start the ball rolling to get this problem sorted , so did the checks I.e look for leaks ........
Set the oil and away I go to do the 1000 miles , did this in 2weeks , went back with the car and oil below the half way mark , gave the car to service depot and left .
Received phone call to pick the car up and was told all was ok ,bull !
So it was explained that this was normal ........ Again Bull ...
So I drove home and checked the oil and found it was 1 1/2 quarts over , ahhhhhh now I am really pissed . So I set the oil correctly and drove the car another 1000 miles and checked again and low and below it was lower than the first time .
So drove down to Ross Nissan and went through the motions and now it's in the shop getting a new long block .
So long story short Do Not Go To Performance Nissan .
Thanks
:gtfo2: Performance .......

Yeah, I dont know why dealers act like it is going to cost them money. Nissan North America covers the bill. Parts and labor, not the dealer. I just got mine back from the dealer getting a 3rd new motor. Even the service dept, was very pleased with how NA worked with them on the issue. They submitted the results and poof, NA sent all parts needed to fix, plus a new crank sensor and VVEL sensor.

There is supposed to be a TSB for this issue on the 370Z. I know the 350Z 2006 has/had one.

Makes no sense, dealers make money servicing the vehicle for anything.

That's what you would think, but none of the dealership I worked with are easy to deal with when it comes to any warranty claims. This is not just the 370, had the same problem with the 350 and my Cube. I got better service with Chevy, it's pathetic.

As I said the thing that got me was getting my car back from them with 1 1/2 quarts of oil over , what muppets do they have working for them .....?
I have owned z32 , Z 33 , R33 and R34 gtr v and never had problems with the dealers back in the uk .
