Default My GSX finally dies...........

Time to get a Z. I am 26 and this will be my first time buying a new car. I am hoping to get a base Z with the sport package included for a good price.

Any tips? What price should I be looking to get it near, and how should I deal with the dealership and or sales person?

Thanks in advance guiys. I hope to be part of the community shortly.

Test drove a 370Z with the sport package recently....you won't be disappointed, the Zs a lot of fun.

My only worry is getting a good deal. I am also curious if I will miss the AWD.

Your target is invoice. All the MSRP and Dealer cost numbers can be found here: Nissan 370Z Pricing / Ordering Discussions - Nissan 370Z Forum

I had an AWD Audi and don't miss it. RWD cars are a lot of fun.

I got mine at invoice (+ T&L) a little over a month ago - you can use Edmunds.com to get current invoice prices.

Yes and no. The AWD is awesome for acceleraction but....

Turn your traction control off in the Z and hit corners in 2nd, what happens next you can't get in an AWD on dry pavement.

Good luck on getting your Z. What killed the DSM?

I just cant get parts for it anymore. It is becoming harder and harder to keep up. On top of all of that it is just old, especially the interior.

I was talking about that with a friend last week. I used to love Eclipses, & even up to like two years ago, I still thought they were neat cars. I'm not sure what happened, but all of a sudden, they look TREMENDOUSLY dated.

Anywho, where in NOLA do you live? I grew up in Thibodaux, went to school in Baton Rouge, & am now stuck in Shreveport for work.

Thibodaux's 45 minutes away, lol. New Orleans is basically home.

I've got family in Chalmette.
