My only real problem is that it doesn't have the awesome factory Navi (which is integrated with other car controls). Last edited by Baddriver; 07-02-2009 at 06:15 AM. |

I think your touring package is nicer inside tho. can't beat leather seats and upgraded audio. I was actually choosing between this and the 6mt/sport/touring/NAV. It's being sold to me for about the same price. I picked the Nismo cause it's new and I think I'll be among the first ones to get it here and I really like how it looks. I'm still mourning the loss of the Oem Nav tho aftermarket ones will be installed below the cubby/cabinet hole and looks/seems kinda awkward to use, unless you are a midget. despite our crappy city roads, I'm sure I can manage as other people have their car suspensions set a lot lower than the nismo's Last edited by Baddriver; 07-02-2009 at 10:46 AM. |

Maybe with a tune. The Nismo "tune" is done for the Nismo CBE and CAI no doubt and if you want to pull the most out of your parts, you need to custom tune to those particlar parts. I'm sure someone will add these parts and test them.

I followed your link and it shows your navi being installed inside the cubby hole? That is where I really want my aftermarket head unit installed. It seems no one has done this yet so it might take extra effort/fabrication? I really want to get rid of that huge cabinet on the dash and make it look like the oem navi. All the aftermarket unit I see here are installed way down below the cabinet. Last edited by Baddriver; 07-02-2009 at 12:09 PM. |

I also agree that usable items such as an aftermarket stereo or navigation could (and should) go in that spot. You would be surprised at how that whole thing opens up if you haven't seen it already and I should have taken a picture of it. It's hinged at the bottom and opens forward and down so you have great access to customize some sort of bracketed mounting system for just about whatever you want to put in there. The only problem will be fabricating a "face" so that once the trap door is removed for such an application, it doesn't look ugly like you hacked it all to hell. I myself wanted to keep the door in order to hide my Navi unit as a matter of both practicality and safety. Good luck and I would love to see more people using this space for aftermarket *usable* products! |

Not really into the nizmo. For some reason it looks weird to me, but that's me. The nizmos would be a rare sight to me! Unfortunately it would only be from my rear view as I pass it up lol!
