Your pics were great, Chris! These were just forwarded to me by the purchaser/forwarder:)

I'm glad I waited for the Nismo:) Looks great.

Meh.

I'm happy it's causing so much excitement but if you're banking on all this "power" from a CAI and CBE then you might be a little dissapointed in the numbers. You could spend less and get more.

I don't care for the body kit either. :shakes head:

Oh well... different strokes right?

I think everyone knows about the edmund's review/comparison by now. I'm in it for the looks and exclusivity factor. plus it's the latest and greatest as opposed to "been waiting at the dealer lot for 6 months". It's FOB:)

My only real problem is that it doesn't have the awesome factory Navi (which is integrated with other car controls).

armensti 07-02-2009 05:11 AM

wait this cars at miller nissan? im gonna be there friday mornining lol to check out the car in person. anyone else want to join me?

haha... no offense meant. I only wanted it shipped asap cause I'm excited as hell.

I think your touring package is nicer inside tho. can't beat leather seats and upgraded audio.

I was actually choosing between this and the 6mt/sport/touring/NAV. It's being sold to me for about the same price. I picked the Nismo cause it's new and I think I'll be among the first ones to get it here and I really like how it looks.

I'm still mourning the loss of the Oem Nav tho:( aftermarket ones will be installed below the cubby/cabinet hole and looks/seems kinda awkward to use, unless you are a midget.

19x9.0- Silver front (Set Of 2) (370z Coupe) $1,627.50
19x10.0- Silver Rear (Set Of 2) (370z Coupe) $1,627.50
Dual Cold-Air Intake $558.00
Nismo Front Chin Spoiler (Color Matched) (370z Coupe) $802.50
Nismo Front Nose Finisher (Color Matched) (370z Coupe) $427.50
Nismo Side Sills (Color Matched) (370z Coupe) $750.00
Nismo Rear Under Spoiler (Color Matched) (370z Coupe) $630.00
Nismo Rear Deck Lid Spoiler (Color Matched) (370z) $892.50
Nismo Cat-Back Exhaust System (370z Coupe) $1,950.00

The dealer gave me a list of all the Nismo accesories with the prices on the side.

Those are the prices for the S-tune accessories. For example, the front of the Nismo is a one piece bumper, where you list a color matched chin spoiler and the nose finisher (which is that beak they put above the bumper opening on the S).

hehe, I'll prolly be among the first but will not be the only one. . my gray market importer is planning to bring in 2 more and I'm sure other dealers will bring it in as well. He's already sold a few touring Zs as well as GTRs

despite our crappy city roads, I'm sure I can manage as other people have their car suspensions set a lot lower than the nismo's:)

On the contrary, I'm 6'0" and have absolutely no problems viewing/using my navi.

I'd like to see the results of the NISMO + Stillen Gen 3 intakes and HFC's. I'm guessing about 365hp at the crank/300hp to ground?

Maybe with a tune. The Nismo "tune" is done for the Nismo CBE and CAI no doubt and if you want to pull the most out of your parts, you need to custom tune to those particlar parts. I'm sure someone will add these parts and test them.

Hello, KBee,

I followed your link and it shows your navi being installed inside the cubby hole? That is where I really want my aftermarket head unit installed. It seems no one has done this yet so it might take extra effort/fabrication?

I really want to get rid of that huge cabinet on the dash and make it look like the oem navi. All the aftermarket unit I see here are installed way down below the cabinet.

I agree that that big "cubby" space is kind of a waste. It's a large enough area to take up quite a bit of dash space whereas it's also pretty shallow (with an angled rear-bottom) that makes it useless to store anything other than a pair of sunglasses or an iPhone in there. Dumb.

I also agree that usable items such as an aftermarket stereo or navigation could (and should) go in that spot. You would be surprised at how that whole thing opens up if you haven't seen it already and I should have taken a picture of it. It's hinged at the bottom and opens forward and down so you have great access to customize some sort of bracketed mounting system for just about whatever you want to put in there. The only problem will be fabricating a "face" so that once the trap door is removed for such an application, it doesn't look ugly like you hacked it all to hell. I myself wanted to keep the door in order to hide my Navi unit as a matter of both practicality and safety.

Good luck and I would love to see more people using this space for aftermarket *usable* products!

Not really into the nizmo. For some reason it looks weird to me, but that's me. The nizmos would be a rare sight to me! Unfortunately it would only be from my rear view as I pass it up lol!

Didnt really feel the Nismo in the silver color. But in black its quite sexy. Black is teh color to get it in imho.

I do like it now that I have seen it in something besides silver. If it was available with leather and navigation then I would regret not waiting for it. I drive my car way too much to do away with all of the interior bells and whistles.

Lug 07-04-2009 12:00 AM

I finally figured out what the front reminds me of....an Aston Martin.

StLRedrider 07-04-2009 03:29 PM

bent

I think that the front end looks like its bent downward, sorta droopy... not a fan. The rear looks a little ricey with the pronounced step where the fenders meet the rear bumper.. I think that the rear of the non Nismo is much cleaner and more organic...SEXY..Also I too appreciate the navigation and leather, but, I am personally waiting for the roadster...

CrownR426 07-04-2009 03:44 PM

Car looks hella sexy!
Damn the body kit is such a +
And those rims are pretty sweet.
I should've waited for the nismo...
