Babying the car?
Will babying the car cause damage to motor over time? Should I redline the car or is the engine still needs broken in? Also how often should I redline the car if it needs it? My car is a 2010 with 13k miles. Thanks for any advice guys!

What?!?!?!? Save the gas and engine for the times you want to embarrass someone or have some fun.

it broke in you bought it. there are times when you just have to drive it like you stole. just be careful and watch out. oh and i would leave on the vdc

Break in the engine and enjoy the car. The power lies at high RPM's. Baby it for what? So you can have fun later?

babying or garaging cars rustles my jimmies. Unless you have a super modified super car or rare production car i dont even wanna hear anyone brag i have an 09 with only 20,000 on it blah blah.

Breaking in is the first 1,200 miles. If you take care of the car, it should be fine. Regular Fluid maintenance and Premium gas and you should be fine. The VQ motors are pretty solid and strong motors. Drive as you please.

Baby the maintenance (Do it when you need to). Baby the detail job(Wash it on a regular basis). But abuse the motor and drive train when need be. DRIVE IT! BE SEEN IN IT! USE IT FOR WHAT IT WAS BUILT TO DO!

I think you guys missed the point of the question. I'm asking will the car get motor issues over time if you baby the car. I'm not staying that I'm going to baby the car. If sure if you keep on relining the car it will blow up!
