You hit that squarely on the head. Cars are not investments. Anything over $15K can be considered "irresponsible".

I had a Jetta for only 6 months before I got rid of it. Couldn't stand the lack of power. I understand his decision and I applaud him for helping out the economy!

There's a possibility that we early owners of the 370Z are going to be in better shape than most.

Already the Nissan 60% production decrease of the Z is partly to blame for the efforts to find certain color + option combinations. Another few months, and a few models in the most popular colors may be close to sticker for used -- especially if the '10 models have a 2-3% price increase with only minor changes.

It has happened before. No guarantees!

I understand that completely, I was in the same situation with a Ford F-150. Bought it, had it for 6 months and absolutely hated it, just not for me. I sold it and bought a new 05 350Z. I think that happens to most car-people at one time or another.
