Help with 2013 roadster spare

Just picked up a 2013 white vert and have been to two dealerships to secure a spare. The parts men are uncertain. Will the 18" spare wheel kit #999 W5 ZW000 clear the brakes on a touring sport pkg with the 19" Rays. I have found the appropriate tire at the Tire Rack 145/70/R18. Just want to verify before a costly mistake. Thanks in advance.

I have a roadster with the factory spare and the tire is indeed a 145/70/18 even though i have the sport package.

One concern I have though is putting the 18 inch spare on the rear. That can't be good for the diff unless they are the same overall diameter. With a flat on the rear of my S2000, which was also one inch undersized, the manual wanted you to swap a front wheel to the back, while putting the spare on the front. So the spare was probably not the same overall diameter.

The rear tire is 26.5" in diameter and the spare is 26". Tire Rack says well within tolerances for temporary use. I"m just trying to confirm if this is the correct rim for the 19" sport brakes.
Thanks

I was under the impression roadsters came with a huge can of flat fix? Did something change in 2013?

A few states have laws that require spares. MD is one of them...which is why my 2010 roadster has the spare which was an option (not often checked off) on the sheet 'o stuff you could order.

AFAIK there is only one part and it was designed for both 18 and 19" brake packages.
