Corvettes rev at you? How old is the driver?! Usually the Vette drivers don't like to race anything unless they're in their mid to low 20's.

But most Vette owners are in their late 40s or older.

LOL @ vette drivers.

I live in a military town....every single vette owner is retired military 50+ year old men.

My active goal (that I've been joking around with friends for two years) is to see a vette owned by someone under 50 or female. These guys tool around doing 40 mph in a 55.

It's all good. You and I both know what would happen. Let the kids talk outta the side of their mouth. He's just jealous because he somehow thought "Nismo" meant he was getting into a Bugatti Veyron version of a Z. Not quite the case.

I love my 370Z, but my stroked '72 Vette will kick its @ss - and I definitely don't do 40 in a 55 zone.

^^^ Actually C6 Corvettes were marketed more to women while the C6 Z06 and ZR-1 were marketed to men. The C6 seats were even made differently to handle the wider hips most women have. Interestingly enough, there's a LOT of women that prefer to drive C5 and C6 corvettes.

My friend (who also has a Vette) always says "Vette make's 'em wet."

Actually, you do know that the 07-08 350z, nismo or otherwise, is a low 13 sec car just like the 370z is? The 07-08 350z by mags runs a 13.5 but if you look at the owners of the HR 350z they have managed to run as low as 13.1. Most average 13.3-13.4. The 370z has hit a best of 13.2 by mags and so far as best as I've seen a 13.1 in an automatic 370z by an owner. Sure the 370z has the advantage but when comparing the numbers the two cars are actually pretty close in a straght line race. With something like this it would come down to the drivers and not so much the cars themselves.

The Nismo 350z really isn't any faster in a straight line than the regular 350z, just better in the corners. So in all possibility this guy could give your 370z a run for it's money depending on both your drivers skill. Us 370z owners need to remember not to be too cocky just because our car is newer. Remember, not all 350z's were created equal. There were 3 different motors used during the 350z's life span.

Tell him your 370z has push button start! That'll shut him up.
