Trade in my 370z for a CRZ?
I'm picking up a 240z and I'm currently thinking about trading in my 370z for a CRZ as a daily.
Reasons for considering the CRZ: 1. Cheap (to buy and maintain) 2. Pretty fun for a gas saver 3. Don't need 2 fun cars (370z and 240z) 4. More room for my dog What do you guys think? Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2 |
I think you'd deeply regret it. There are much "funner" cars for the price of the CRZ, like a Turbo Veloster or Arbarth.
I think you're really going to miss it, then again if you're considering getting rid of it you much not be that much in love. Unless you really need to cut costs, I'd stick with it. |
I didn't find much to like after driving the CR-Z. Looks pretty, but it lacks anything that made the CR-X fun. Many better options, some already listed ^^

Yea I'm just not a big fan of hyundais and fiats. I like the CRZ cause its a roomy little 2 seater that gets good gas mileage and is pretty fun to drive. I love my 370z, but I love the 240z more lol.

If you're going to drive something with great mileage and no balls, why not get something more practical?
|
I was thinking you said BRZ, but no it was CRZ. Does CRZ stand for Crazy? Sorry.
I like the 240Z purchase. |
get a s2000 instead.

Thanks for all the input gents. The crz may not be the quickest, but its a fun little car to toss around. I don't really need something that's practical and I definitely don't need 5 seats.
Besides the volester and fiat, any other suggestions? Thought about getting a 135i, but I've read too many horror stories and I want to stick with something more reliable. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2 |
I love the s2000, but if do that, then I might as well keep my 370 lol. There's a brand new black crz 6MT for $21k at the Honda dealer near me.

why get rid of the Z to get another 2 seater with "good" gas mileage, if u drive the crap out of the CRZ to have fun and "whip around" or "toss around" you wont get good gas mileage, I guess I dont understand your logic?

CRZ with swift springs, rear sway bar, and 205 tires is actually a pretty fun little car. I have one. It has no trouble keeping up in the curves, but the straights will leave you wanting more. The Jackson Racing SC is about $4500 for a complete plug and play kit that can be done over a saturday. MPG's are definitely nice too.
Oh and get the 6MT. The CVT will make you hate yourself. Quote:

And I think its a waste of a 370z if I was just going to daily it. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2 |
Yup, this. Borrowed my buddys crz on Saturday while he drove my z around just for ***** and giggles. It doesn't have much power on paper, but it definitely isn't that boring to drive.

I'd rather get a Mazda3 for under 18k and have room for when I need it and still have a tossable car capable of 40mpg. But to each their own.
