I hear that, mine is a daily, as long as it doesnt snows shes out. I have 31k in a year and 2 months, talk about racking up miles, I should invest in a DD

i leased a Beetle for DD.
i thought it was a good idea at the time :-O
when my lease is up next year, I plan to get a muscle car (probably a Mustang 5.0) for DD

i used to buy only German cars. before I got the Nissan, when our family got together, the parking area would look like a Mercedes-Benz dealer's lot :-O

You know on youtube, there's a video on the Lamborghini Countach and the reporter said before one dies, he should own/drive a car with 12-cylinder engine.
A Lamborghini 12 cylinder engine is out of my budget but American car with V-8 engine producing over 400 HP is within it. So I figure why not

my last German car before I switched to Nissan.
At the time, the dealer told me i had the only C320SS with a manual transmission in northern California :-O.
I special ordered it from the factory.
When i think about this car, i remember how slow it was compared to the 370z

I think your Benz is a beautiful car. But it just looks plain to me..

No offense. Im sure it cost you double or triple what the Z did.

But anyways, i just feel like I could never drive a benz. Maybe a c63 !

yep, I agree, it's very conservative looking.
i like the look of the 370z much better
but of course one is a sedan and the other is a sports car
so they can't really be compared to each other, styling wise

they cost about the same but the Mercedes was way more
expensive to maintain. Every time it went in for service
the minimum charge was over $200.

Near the end, One side of the bi-xenon lights
went out and they charged me $1,500 to fix it.

I believe it got about the same gas mileage as the 370z, maybe a little bit better in the city

So my drive is half highway until I get on base then its 40mph until i hit the 3 stop signs before work. I average 20-21 sometimes lower, and I don't really get on it. Is the Z's mpg calculator that far off? I see numbers like 24-25 average.
I didnt really buy the car for mpg, is it typical to fill up this car as a daily every week and half?

My average is 21.5 mpg and 25 mph on my 11 SP. I reset the gauge every week to monitor my driving and have gotten 24-25 without spirited driving. I go through a full tank every week.

I get 19-22 on surface streets and up to 28 on the highway if I'm really gentle to it lol. I'm eating a tank every 1.5-2 weeks, I drive about 20 miles/day give or take.
