Well, yeah nobody bought this car for the MPG. Yet it still crosses my mind nowadays considering gas prices. I'll be like, "Since, I'm not in the mood for having fun at the moment, lets try a different way of having fun. Seeing if I can maximize my gas efficiency."

I did buy the car for MPGs!
& how sexy it is, and the speed, and the interior, and the oh...yeah back to the point. I drive 90% highway and i never get lower then 26mpg.. I've done 32mpg for long distances before. Usually i cruise at 75-80mph and get 28-29mpg. I think i got better MPG with my intakes in |

4.00
4.00 for 93 premium Gas here....55.00 to fill up today...would have been a 100.00 for my truck at Reg. 89 grade
Better gas mileage.... faster..... Looks Better.... part of a Classic family 100% win all around......

Wow twice. I've never seen this myself, but I do not blame the car. Nice to know it could do what the sticker said at time of purchase.

Vacation from Des Moines, IA to Savannah, GA, Charleston, SC, Wilmington, NC, and some time in Columbus, OH and back to DSM. Total mileage 2,950 and averaged 27.1 mpg for the total trip. The car was fully loaded with suitcases and passenger. Lots of driving during the two weeks. I was impressed with the performance and gas mileage. I only take vacations when the gas prices approach or exceed $4/gal.!

25 average, but my daily drive is
1. <0.5 mile to highway 2. 33 miles at 70 mph 3. <0.5 mile to work If I play around with my gas mileagometer while on the highway, it seems to be close to: 1. 60 mph: 32 mpg 2. 70 mph: 29 mpg Not bad! |
