@alcheng: Where did you get the emblem from? The 2nd link unfortunately does not ship to Toronto... they are trying to see if they can get it. Hopefully it wont cost more than $10 to ship... that way I am paying $30 total.
Also - lol im NOT a car guy... I can fix your computer .... but scared to touch anything on the car... I dont trust my own hands... especially on expensive equipment... so Id rather just pay someone to do it! LOL do you wanna do it for me? The only thing I did on my car... which turned out pretty sick... is I used black tape and made a Z stencil on my rear fog light. That way at night when I turn my fog light on ... u see a 'Z' opposed to a big red square. I can post a picture if anyone is interested. |

If you decide to replace the factory emblem and replace it with the Fairlady emblem, use this approach for a clean removal. I had this in another post a while back.
To remove the emblem and tape residue, you can soften and loosen the adhesive by using water, plastic and the heat under the sun. First, cut a 4 x 9 inch piece of plastic garbage bag. Use the thicker plastic if possible. Second, spray the tape residue and surrounding area with water. Third, place the plastic piece over the tape residue and seal the perimeter by running your fingers around it. Fourth, park your care under the sun and let it bake under the sun for about 30 minutes. The trapped heat generated under the plastic will loosen the adhesive and make it easy to peel without using any harmful chemicals or a screw driver wrapped in a sock. The same technique is used to remove tint from your windows. |

Here I was thinking this would turn into that ridiculous troll thread from like a month ago.
