I came from a 6 speed manual and now the 7 speed auto, I found it a little strange at first. However, now that I am used to it I don't mind it at all. A good compromise.

yeah Surfing accident, and then years of Martial arts and Injuries... it's really bad. Still I wouldn't mind putting up with it for a good manual car like say and S2000. But really the comfort of the new z with it's 7 speed Im really looking forward to it

I actually decided on the automatic based on bad sports injuries to my knees and no longer being able to clutch efficiently anymore. It is a blast to drive especially with the paddle shifters.
