What kind of discount, are you going to print a 20% off coupon?

The Evo X rides rougher, more aggressive, and stock is slower on the top end. The Z rides smooth, feels like a grand tourer. They are in two different worlds. You have to justify what YOU want out of a car.
Yes, i've owned both and an Evo 8 before. |

Evo is a great car, I can't accept the fact it looks like a boy-toy sports car. Practically looks like a Lancer with a huge spoiler, interior is horrendous except the seats. Great performer, just doesn't have that sexiness and is a real deal breaker.

Bought and owned a 2012 z for about 8 months. Did a lot of asthetic mods and all the bolt ons. Just traded it in for a new evo x. I absolutely love it so far. The stock tune on these things is a little crappy out of the factory, but every gear it feels like the car wants to lift off. 370z and evo x are just two different cars. Overall I am very happy with my decision so far

My only problem with the Evo is the price. I just don't feel like I'm getting that much "car" for $40K (and that's a base 2012 GSR model!). Yes it has a lot of performance, but there wasn't anything "special" about it to win me over from the Nismo that I eventually bought.

Wow! How did you swing that?! The dealer I went to had a '12 that had been on the lot for over a year, PLUS it had hail damage (!) and they would only go down to $37,500 (before TT&L). MSRP was a bit over $40K.

That is why its 40k and its well worth it. As well as the Evo holds value, unlike the Z. I lost 20k in value in 8 months on the Z. Assuming my engine wasnt blown with almost a year and half and twice as many km's on it. I would only loose about 5k in value on the car.

At the end of the day it's really just a souped up $15K Lancer. Yes, the performance is awesome, but it doesn't "push my buttons" like a true sports coupe does. If the car were closer to $30K I would be all over it. At $40K+, I looked elsewhere. Just my opinion and personal taste. Not hating on the car.

The way their sales have been Mitsubishi should be treating prospective buyers like manna from heaven, but I guess dealerships will be dealerships.

My Z was 8 months old, 16,500km on it. Non - smoker and abit of cosmetic damage (approx $5000 so they said). I pad $43,xxx for my Z (im in canada, we pay more for cars) and they gave me $24,000 trade in.
