Since you asked on a Z forum I will have to say get the EVO. Why would you ask this on a Z forum? If you ask on an EVO forum you will get a totally diferent answer. Why not drive both, research both in a non-bias manor and make your own decision.

Is the EVO X even considered to be a sports car ? Sure doesn't look like one to me and sure doesn't fit the definition of a 2 seat RWD GT.

Evo is awd so the launch is quicker, twin turbo a 370z and you'll see how many cars you destroy...370z all day looks rwd once it's twin turbo it's beast

Second, what someone else likes and what you like might be two very different things. People who bought the car obviously liked it enough to buy it, but you are a prospective buyer and you need to find out if the car fits YOUR needs and likes. Asking about problem areas and recalls is one thing, but asking how people enjoy their cars is really just pointless. You are the one that has to live with it so only your opinion really matters in this case. I mean, what if everyone here said the car was awesome and you just end up hating the car? Who was wrong? Nobody. Just saying, you need to drive the car and see if YOU like it. Everyone else's opinion should mean nothing to you. OH, and whatever you buy, make sure you post pics.

If it weren't for the cheap interior and lack of some toys, I'd give the wrx sti serious consideration over the G sedan. Both are at nearly the same price point (new). I think in part, this refinement is what differentiates the comparison. Boils down to what you want to do with the car and what you're looking for.
More refined ----> less refined G37 --> 370z ---> wrx sti --> evo x IMO.

If you want Z but want to retain the really racey feel of the EVO X, try looking at a used Nismo. I say used because the new ones are going for 45k :0

i got my 2011 nismo for 35K OTD
@OP just the other day i raced a modded evo x in my stock nismo Z and i beat him(not by much but i did beat him) he had a full exhaust, Cat delete, and running 17psi off the stock turbo while my car was just a stock nismo(compared to the base Z all thats different is exhaust, tune, and weight) and tbh if a stock nismo Z will be some modded evos, there is alot of potential for a full bolton Z with a tune i think full bolton Zs make close to 350whp with a tune and you might be able to make more |
