This applies to any vehicle.

How so? (Serious question)

You start off with more displacement and better engine internals. Vettes are built to handle high amounts for torque better than Z's. Granted some people will likely disagree but I'd feel better about a muscle car designed for high horsepower and torque to start with.

Btw, going forced induction without supporting mods is a stupid idea and will cost you big $ in the long run. You're at the very least going to need an exhaust that matches better with a turbo setup and an upgraded clutch. Also, cooling is always an issue so supporting oil and transmission coolers are a must.

I agree with you on that. I thought people were poo-pooing the idea of 450 RWHP on ANY street-driven car, and that's just not true. You can have a lot of fun with more than 500 RWHP and drive it on the street with no problem.

If the Vettes didn't depreciate like a rock and had a better interior I would have got one over the Lotus. The depreciation really killed it the ugly interior made me feel better about it. The power is intoxicating but I like being the only Lotus owner around save for a very few than a faceless guy amongst a rather cliche Vette population. I may try again after the c7 comes out and the c6 Z06 depreciates further.

Btw on topic, the Evo X is god awful ugly. Sure it looks semi intimidating from the front view but the rear is hideous. Mitsu is doing the right thing putting that ugly dog to sleep.

I looked into that kit and called them. They arent near my area and thats without install and the rest of the supporting mods. Also I want to go with a more reputable company like gtm. they have alot of R&D on nissans and thats the company i feel safest with. But its cool i am getn my evo x now and then later once the new z comes out ill probably build one eventually. I am really interested in what the z35 will be like. or i might just keep both lol.

I will not be buying mine until after the first of the year but i was debating a similar situation over the last few weeks, as u can c i have joined the z forum not the evo one lol, i went and drove both and to be honest the evo did seem to perform better, but for me the quality, styling, sound, and potential of the 370 won me over, so id say just go drive both and c if that makes the decision any easier. Also the guy who suggested the mustang makes a good point they are great cars.

The mustang is a lot of things, "handsome" is not one of them.

I think they each have great potential but for the money I think the evo will suit me better. I own a 2012 PW Nismo 370z Im just waiting for my evo to get here in two months. I think the z will be great to drive around and have fun with but for more performance I think it needs boost. My friend supercharged his 370z and didnt like it, got bored and now is going to TT it. He has spent stupid amounts of money on that car even his amuse body kit was expensive but then again he rolls like that. I could tt my z maybe if this was the last year z i would do it and then keep it, but i will wait until i see that one particular z model that draws me in or i could always get a c6 zo6 and call it a day....but then again something about boost always wins me over.
