Talk about "affordable sports car" huh?
Using an inflation rate of 3%/yr., the 370 base is $17,810 in "1990 dollars." I remember Mustang GT's started at $23,000 brand new then, MR2 Turbo's were about that as well. This 370 is dirt cheap then. I thought 1970 240's were under $4,000 then? Because if you use 3%/yr. inflation with your $19,343.15 price, then that is $8,208. I thought Corvettes costed that much new then? Corvette is always a little more expensive than Z's. |
