Default Do any 370Z drivers "wave" at each other?

I used to own a 2005 WRX STI before the Z and the same day I got the car I quickly noticed something that I was not used to with a car, that as soon as someone else with a WRX (regardless of year) would see me they would beep and wave. In the 7 years I had this car not once did I pass by a WRX and they wouldn't acknowledge me. Many times I would be driving and hear a beep and as I would look at my rearview mirrors sure enough it was a WRX driver that had passed me and would be sticking their hand out the window waving.

My question is, why don't 370Z drivers do the same? I understand that this car is not as rare as the WRX (at least in Miami) but you don't see them that often either. Is there a reason for this? I also have a sportbike and people wave at me all of the time regardless of what motorcycle they're riding.

Just wondering why not with the 370Z?

I give thumbs up to the z drivers time to time and I receive the same on the road too. But seems like the Civic guys like to give me more love then anybody else on the road by revving up their v-techs.

I try to wave at all the Zs I see. I rarely get a wave back.

I never see a 370Z when I am driving.

They seem to be rare where I am at...Which is quite cool.

But I would thumbs up or head nod...I save the waving for Boating on the water...

I always wave at Z's, 240 on. I have even driven along side one 370 for 15 seconds honking until I got his attention, and a wave back.

Yea I generally wave at Zs in general, and always at 370s.. Although women don't seem to understand this custom. They're the ones I get strange looks from

I pulled up next to another 370 on the highway a few weeks ago...it was a couple in probably in their 50s, we simultaneously gave each other thumbs up, other 370s I've waved at or looked over to they pretended to not even see me. It's pretty hit or miss

If you have time to wave you are doing it wrong, leave waving to the jeep crowd.

Only z's in my area are 350 not 370 and I try to wave but i could careless if they wave back. I get more thumbs up and people breaking their necks than waves. That's all that matters.

Mostly dentists, family doctors, and CPAs drive them around here. I dont think they are enthusiasts, they just like the look of the car. Seeing a young guy like me driving one, I dont think they really care to wave. They just think Im some punk kid driving a sports car.

WRXs, EVOs, are a totally different club cause people go out of their way to buy one of those. It's like when I used to drive toyota tacomas.. everyone just drove it no one ever waved. Wasnt until I bought an FJ cruiser that I would see other cruisers wave.

It just having that one off car that only a select few find really attractive. The FJ was like the fat girl at the prom with the pretty eyes.

The WAVE or High Beam FLASH was once a very popular trend with the Z owners...especially the older ones. This trend does not seem to exist anymore with the 350Z and 370z owners unfortunately.

I always bump my high beams when passing another Z if I am in my car. You will normally get a response like a FLASH or wave back from either a long time Z owner, multiple generation Z owner or someone who has been in the community for a long time.
