Put 87 octane in my Nismo :(

First off has anyone ever done this before? Secondly I know I'm retarded for doing this. Most importantly what should I do? Put octane booster in the tank? No pinging

Default Put 87 octane in my Nismo :(

First off has anyone ever done this before? Secondly I know I'm retarded for doing this. Most importantly what should I do? Put octane booster in the tank? No pinging sounds as of yet. Is it really necessary to try and drain the $70. Of gas I just filled up with?

Just drive completely normal for this tank and you'll be fine. That means no pedal to the metal.

I drove to Vegas this weekend and put two tanks worth of 87-octane into my girlfriends Scion. Today I go to fill up my Z and some sexy chick walks right by me (sexy as in the Carl's jr. Commercials kind of sexy) and distracted me. Didn't even think twice about pushing the 87-octane button

That's gonna be tough but I'll try. I had an orange Z car just try and race me on the freeway and my lead foot was itching to hit the pedals!

Definitely not worth it. Wouldn't hardly change the octane at all. Don't waste more money.

One tank is not going to make a difference. I certainly wouldn't make it a habit but you've got nothing to worry about. Just take it easy on the pedal and try to empty the tank as much as you reasonably can before you fill up again.

Do what everyone says.

I'd siphon out the tank though. But yeah, no pedal to the metal, or you risk detonation in these extremely low tolerance motors.

There are also REAL octane boosters, which might be worth getting if you're paranoid.

All of you guys would really siiphon off 17-20 gallons of gas??? JEEZUS you guys need to find something better to do with your time...

I think you should drive like a human, drive on the tank, then when you fill up next, disconnect your battery and wait about an hour or so to reset the computer
