short answer would be that the feature if anything is supposed to help prolong the life of the clutch and yes i leave it on for daily driving all the time with no impact on fuel economy.

If the wife is with me and shes tired, I have it on. But usually, I have it off most of the time. It keeps your skills in check.

I leave it on all the time (as I do for VDC on the street) until the week before a track session when I turn it off so I can practise heel/toe in daily driving to refresh the muscle memory.

This.

Leave it on. It'll help preserve the clutch.

It really does nothing more then a better job of a human bliping the throttle: no damage, no risk, no wasted fuel.

I have never turned mine off. Ever. Our Z is very happy.

if you have a manual, LEAVE IT ON. it saves the clutch massive wear. i have 95k on the odo now and it pulls just as hard as it did on day one. the gas burned by revving up is very tiny

On all the time

Plus my downshifts sound way more aggressive with it on lol.

I only turn it off so I can remember what its like to drive a stick without this feature. Remember it works on up shifts as well as down.

I remembers your setting. If you turn it off, it stays off. If you leave it on, it stays on.

I always leave mine on too.

I leave it off all the time....I prefer to do the rev matching myself. It's second nature to me.

I leave it off except when I am at the track. Honestly not a huge difference in smoothness when I do it myself vs leave it on so I doubt its makings a huge difference for me in clutch wear.
