Help!!

Hey everyone, so i had a little accident this morning that iu was wondering if anyone could direct me where to pick up a replacement part. had a heavy 2 1/4 ton jack sitting in the back hatch area with towels wrapped around it from changing my oil this weekend and my landlord doesnt have anywhere for me to store it so that the reason it was back there. long story short i must have taken a turn to sharp or something and the jack seems to have punched a hole in one of the plastic humps that goes over the wheel well in the back. can anyone tell me where i can pick up a replacement part for this piece and would it be hard to replace that piece? thanks in advance for anyone who could provide some useful information.

You're probably going to need the entire rear trim. It's not something commonly sold, so you can make it race car and get some weight savings by tearing it out.

Because it is uncommon, might be worth getting a price from the dealer.

ok so i found what looks to be the replacement part through courtesy parts, just need some confirmation that the part # is the correct one if anyone can chime in, part #'s are 84940M and 84941M LH and RH upper finishers

have you tried courtesyparts? if they don't have it a local body shop should be able to order it for you

I would recommend courtesy parts or your dealer. It's hard to get oem parts not from a dealer. Courtesy parts is actually an extension of courtesy-nissan here in dallas. So basically, you'd be buying from a dealer either way. Good luck.

You can also look around salvage yards...

I've seen a few people selling the trim in the trunks. If you can wait, I would just browse the classified section until one pops up.

thanks everyone for all the input, i printed out the diagram for the rear hatch area and what all parts it consists of so hopefully when i go to the dealer after work today they are able to look it up more easily. in hindsight i knew i probably shouldnt have put that jack back there, but being as it is a heavy duty garage jack it takes alot out of me to move it around. oh well lesson learned, it could have been worse

PM Lou Fusz Nissan, he can get anything. He is a sponsor here I believe, great guy!

Thanks papo, went to local dealership here and was quoted $114 for the part that would be needed. found a band aid solution by just placing my Zenclosure sub box in the hatch area which covered it up nicely for now so no one can see it until i get the replacement part lol
