Nice collection! You truly are a Z fanatic. Mind if I ask what happened to your 2009 CY?

Lets just say sub 30 degrees with worn stock tires shifting to 2nd mid left turn equals me into a wall. Car wasn't too bad off but everything was 1k to fix. That's all the body shop kept saying. Right wheel, 1k. Right rear wheel 1k. Dash board 1k, air bag 1k, etc. For a car that didn't look all that bad total damages was 29k. Aside from losing my dream car that I special ordered and waited on (first time I got to do this) I made out ok. Got something like 7k from the insurance company after paying off the rest of the loan. Dumped into my NISMO and lets just say when it gets cold out I drive like a gradma. Live and learn. Doesn't matter how much experience you have, all it takes is that one moment.

Beautiful collection :tiphat:

...and I'd like my garage situation to be like that someday

I hate the fact that you can't find a 1:18 scale 370, doesn't appear anyone is making it. That is my personal favourite size of model since its typically the most detailed.

Yeah, 1:18's are my favorite too. Unfortunately only the 240z, Z32 300zx, and 350z ever made it to scale. No love for the Z31 300zx or 280zx and looks so far like the 370z isn't getting the love either.

Awesome collection! Looking at this thread has really spurred our interest in purchasing a nice display model, as well as a nice keychain. Which brands are decent for the display model? We've seen some nice looking stuff on eBay for around $13 - but I can't imagine anything that cheap is actually decent. We also found this really neat eBay store for car keychains called Surplus Goodies. We found two 370z keychains. One blue and one white (link). We really like the detail that the blue one has (being able to see the headlight color / inside seats) but we have a white car so we want a white keychain. Does anyone know anything about these, or any other decent keychain models? It needs to be durable since keys generally get smacked around. Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks

Hmmm, not sure about the key chains. I'm still using the one Nissan gave me from my 09 370z. It's a little scuffed but that's it.

As for decent model brands. The best are Koyosho and Autoart. These are top notch but you pay for it too. Most 1:18 Koyosho or Autoart models are right abour 100 bucks. Unfortunately neither makes a 1:18 370z. They do however make 1:43's but these may be too small. Typically they are 4-5inch in length. Maisto is a decent model maker but again, no 1:18. They do make a 1:24 size 370z that if your luck you can find at Walmart/Target/Toys R US. Typically 15 bucks in store. If there is a specific brand you are looking at post it here and I'll comment on it if I can.
