Sometimes I feel like our seats are cheap...mainly because if you press your head back on the headrest, the two metal support beams for the headrest will poke you in the back lol.
If you never tried this, do it Outside of that, I think the side bolsters are really great, I adjust the lumbar support when on longer drives, overall a good seat. Its no G37 seat though, thats for sure.

Are you actually saying I'm supposed to feel it? I've done it in my wife's X5 and I don't feel a poke...I doubt her car is unsafe lol. Maybe I need to push harder

OP, just out of curiosity, are you a skinny guy or more on the heavy side....tall or short? I'm 5'8, 175lbs and I've never found the seats to be uncomfortable. I have the Touring Package, they do take some time to adjust to get just right.

i'm in mine everyday use as a DD no problem here. the only issue i have from the drivers side is my left leg gets tired of resting on the foot pedestal. then i have to stretch it out for a while........ but i like the seats coming over from a vette

I think any racing seat or seat that are build like racing seat are never comfortable to sit or even sleep in. But why would you need to "sleep in" the car anyway?

they take some getting used to. I'm a big guy 6'2" ~270 at first I thought the seats were really uncomfortable but after some adjustments, especially with the lumbar support, I went on a longggg road trip ~30 hours round trip and was pretty fine the whole way
