I had an 08 Altima coupe before the z. It was fully loaded with power/heated seats, nav, Bose system, sunroof, but the power obviously wasn't there. I very willingly gave up that stuff to have a true sports car and it was worth every penny. And i also love the fact that it's not a dime a dozen like the mustang. You can get most of that stuff with the touring package anyways.

If you don't notice torque in any vehicle, the car is turned off. Turn the key and push the pedal down.

I'm loving my Z, however this car has some handling issues stock that can be addressed with sway bars, linear springs, koni shocks and nice tires. Also definetly need to make the exhaust note more noticable. Way to quiet for a sport car.

For the price the Z sports package is quite acceptable as an entry level its even 2 bars higher than the other comparable sports cars and more expensive Z4 , Audi TT even the cayman IMHO. If your still looking for a true sport car pedigree then go 1 stage higher and pay the cost of owning a Porsche GT3 or GTR. Then again the Z is very much open with vast after markets you have mentioned to be closer to the true meaning of a "sports car" or "super car" Last edited by Zoren 370; 08-31-2012 at 12:14 AM. |

The review makes some random factual points. No disputing that.
But it still sounds funny when folks "agree" with the review or think it's a "good" review based on a few random bullets. It's comparing 4 cars that are not even comparable. Compare a Z to a Cayman , or a TT etc. Or, a stang to a camaro etc. Or a genesis to a Camry S etc. Or a brz to a miata, or bmw z1 etc. Either way, even if the article makes a few random points, as a review it's a deliberate total fail. |
