Mt Tam I am 08-28-2012 09:29 AM

Intakes and sway bars are always a way to blow extra cash. read a few other threads and you will see plenty of options.

red6spd 08-28-2012 09:29 AM

Intake and gas money.

gbrettin 08-28-2012 09:33 AM

Oil cooler.

Fabio88 08-28-2012 09:37 AM

electric supercharger!!! lol joking don't buy it.

SPOHN 08-28-2012 10:01 AM

Intake for sure. 12 pack. Save the rest.

XwChriswX 08-28-2012 10:04 AM

Handys for everyone.

Montez 08-28-2012 10:06 AM

Good tint, maybe an intake, couple Margaritas, save rest.

hadokenuh 08-28-2012 10:22 AM

Gas!

TypeOne 08-28-2012 10:23 AM

Exhaust or oil cooler I think.

cdoxp800 08-28-2012 10:30 AM

Yea this is what I had in mind. I want to do my exhaust but have NO IDEA where to start. I'm a total noob when it comes to mods. Also I wouldn't know what kind to get since each brand would have its own sound. I do however know that I like the way the dual cans pointing slightly outward for an exhaust look freakin awesome so maybe that's a start:ugh2:

DR_ 08-28-2012 11:07 AM

You live right next to a great track (Barber). Get an oil cooler and hit the track!

VDC_OFF 08-28-2012 11:09 AM

Tires ;)

2010ZilverZ 08-28-2012 11:14 AM

Exhaust I think I would go with a Fast Intentions ...

I currently have a Magnaflow but have a F.I. on order to swap out :tiphat:

HappyZmoke 08-28-2012 11:59 AM

tint and intake or tint and hfc or tp

not quite $600... he's more in the top speed/cnt range there

Juruki 08-28-2012 12:47 PM

top speed exhaust

karotZ 08-28-2012 01:01 PM

For looks:

I'd do springs and spacers to lower it. I'd also do headlight bulbs, dome/map
lights, license plate, etc.
OR
Get a CF hood, and vinyl/paint the roof glossy black with limo tint around
making it look like 1 piece.

For performance:

I'd address the engine temp issue first via oil cooler.
OR
If not, then I'd do intake, ss brakelines and brake oil, if budget allows I would
add the performance brake pads as well.

For safety:

I'd hold off so I can get grippier tires like Bridgestone RE11 or Michelin PSS.

No safety... only speed :stirthepot:

TheGreatOne 08-28-2012 01:20 PM

Hmm, on a Nismo I would do:

- Springs, Spacers and new shift knob for $630

Telephone 08-28-2012 01:20 PM

Clear bra

One_Quick_Z 08-28-2012 01:31 PM

Intakes and test pipes.

Actually thats the first thing I did now that I think about it

binary0x01 08-28-2012 02:05 PM

Fuel up your Z, take the lady out to a nice restaurant and save the rest. :D

KingJoseph 08-28-2012 03:51 PM

I'm surprised HFCs or test pipes hasn't been the #1 response.

sfearl1 08-28-2012 03:58 PM

^^ agreed. Test pipes, drop-in filters and post maf tubes. Great bang for buck combo... you get a louder exhaust, increased throttle response, and a few added HP's.

Fabio88 08-28-2012 04:01 PM

I'll buy racing stickers because if you have that on your car its got to be fast right? lol :P

gsxr750 08-28-2012 04:51 PM

Put the money towards gas and just drive it.

Would this make the car louder? Deeper? Throaty? just doing cat's back. Again i'm pretty much retarded when it comes to this kind of stuff.

Amuse370z 08-28-2012 06:46 PM

Just wondering why the Motordyne exhaust isn't as popular as the Fast Intentions.

I mean it sounds amazing and looks just as good as it sounds.

Swift + Post MAF tubes + K&N filter would be my pick.

DJ-of-E 08-28-2012 07:08 PM

Above all things, oil cooler.

JungleZ 08-28-2012 10:44 PM

First thing i did was Tint, but im thinking about that Clear Bra thing. Can you notice it all? does it take away from the Pearl white paint?

I am with you man! When I came to this forum from a g35 forum I realized people here are so loyal to just one brand.

Intake = Stillen Gen 3
CBE = Fast Intentions
Body Kit = Amuse

While on the g35 forum, there are Fast Intentions, Motordyne, Nismo, HKS, Greddy, Amuse, Tanabe, Fujitsubo, Bassani, Agency Power, Invidia, Topspeed, Xo2 and many many more! Maybe people here just don't want to try out other stuff. :icon17:

forza370z 08-28-2012 11:16 PM

To OP... if I had $690 to spend around, I'd buy either intakes or HFC/TP or make some cosmetic changes like window tint, headlight/taillight mods and so on. There are so many mods you can do, but you just got do it little by little.:) Good luck and have fun!

CrownR426 08-28-2012 11:18 PM

short shifter, shift knob, K&N filters, good engine oil.

USMCASA 08-29-2012 06:26 AM

hookers and blow...

wait, wat?
