For looks:

I'd do springs and spacers to lower it. I'd also do headlight bulbs, dome/map
lights, license plate, etc.
OR
Get a CF hood, and vinyl/paint the roof glossy black with limo tint around
making it look like 1 piece.

For performance:

I'd address the engine temp issue first via oil cooler.
OR
If not, then I'd do intake, ss brakelines and brake oil, if budget allows I would
add the performance brake pads as well.

For safety:

I'd hold off so I can get grippier tires like Bridgestone RE11 or Michelin PSS.

^^ agreed. Test pipes, drop-in filters and post maf tubes. Great bang for buck combo... you get a louder exhaust, increased throttle response, and a few added HP's.
