It really depends on the quality of the fenders and how much prep work is needed.
I've had fenders put on that were FRP that needed some prep work, paint, and install... I think I paid around $200-300. This was 4 or 5 years ago.

There really isn't a point in asking this unless you plan on bringing your car to the same shop that other people use.

Rates from body shops vary in extreme ways, so it would be best to call a few placed locally and get quotes.

You might want to post in the GA section to see if you can get some referrals, maybe someone can point you to a place that won't rip you off.

In the end, good paint and body work cost money, so going with the cheapest place isn't going to get you the results you want.

I think he has a point in asking this. I bought fiberglass fenders and was shocked at the price to paint them pearl white at the dealer. Came out to over $500 for the pair (and that was with a sponsor discount). If I had a black Z I would have paid the $400 more to have carbon fiber fenders instead of paint and saved in the process.

VF Fender by Aerojacket (sponser). I have never really had anything painted so I just want to make sure that Im not getting taken advantage of. Honestly, I thought maybe a few hundred..didnt think it would cost $500 or so to have painted. So in that aspect im glad I asked the question.

I highly recommend AUTOGLO Collision Center. They just did all the repairs on my car. Very great people.
