Figured I'd pull mine even though I hadn't had an issue with it yet. Better safe than sorry, especially while I'm out of country.

Is this to avoid steering lock failure? I am a ticking time bomb regarding steering lock.

for the people who say "i havnt had a problem yet.." well thats the problem, it will just happen. From what people have said, theres no way to tell that it is going to fail. just one morning, or evening, its done for.

Will be doing it when I stop being so lazy. I hear getting to that fuse panel is a little tricky.
A more dedicated DIY thread might be nice, maybe I'll take some pics when I do it. |
