He noted it, called Nissan, and Nissan told him not to do anything with the seat at this point as it is a noted problem and a TSB is being worked on.

Just a heads up for those waiting on Nissan to come up with a "fix".

Why would Nissan instruct the dealer NOT to fix something????

My guess would be is Nissan is working on a fix they don't want the dealer messing with it and either screwing something up or making it worse.

I don't know if anyones mentioned but the 350z has the seat clicking problem too. Not sure if it there was a solution found. Too me the problem is minor and I would rather live with it then take it to the dealer and have them leave a scratch.

I brought them our "message board" fix and they brought it up to Nissan in which they were instructed to wait for the official TSB, as it is indeed in the works.

I think Roo is correct in saying they don't want to make something worse.

As far as the 350z, yes my 03' had the same exact seat problem and it was resolved by a later TSB. Which is why this is so perplexing, you would think it would have not happened again.

Oh well, like it has been stated it's not the end of the world...just an annoying...but still does not steal the joy of owning the best car on the road! I will update when I get more details.
