This item looks like a big profit item for the dealer. It is almost like adding sound proofing and rust protection before the car is sold and just add it to the list price. Nothing but more profit for the dealer.

Only bright pulsating lights for an extended period of time create seizures you don't have to worry about a 3 second blinking red light.

True but if a blinking red light was deamed safe to be used in Formula 1 race cars going 190+ MPH then I am pretty sure you will be safe use it driving around at 55 mhp.

All sort of tests were done by the many people to come to that conclusion (to add it to F1 cars as a safety device)

they only use it for the rain and cautions, not as a brake light

They're talking about the blinking light causing seizures. If a 3rd brake light flashing 3 times would cause a seizure, then I am sure a flashing blinker would also cause one, not to mention those people that are constantly on and off their brakes.

This whole seizure shyt is fvkkin dumb. Who is gonna get a seizure from that? Its not a 60 inch plasma with high intensity action scenes continuously going from a video game. its a half inch wide strip of light thats maybe 12 inches long give or take????? You have a better chance of suing over colored HID's than the foglight. And i hioghly doubt that would happen...

Got the Kahtec one in the mail today, spliced it in, works fine. First time I tested it, I was applying +12V on the wrong lead to test with . It's a nice little flash pattern, and it's over with quickly, I like it. Our top brake light is a bit subtle anyways, it's not overkill and not gonna piss anyone off.

You mean you didn't have a seizure from the pattern? lol

I have it and like it. considering back in 09-10 Z owners were being rear-ended like Z crashing was the in-thing to do. I like having it cuz it grabs peoples attention and i believe it helps reduce accidents. Mine came with my car though from the dealer.
