Here is the new home for my baby. Conifer Colorado. 9000 foot altitude. Frigid cold temps at night. (-5) last night. Snow. Hail freezing rain etc etc etc. Sooooooo... Required modifications for Colorado winter living: 1. Better tires (PSS a/s plus) the potenzas had NO grip on snow. (Installed this morning after exiting drive to big O). Next time I'm using Costco. 2. Clear bra on Hood and fenders (done today.) 3. Radar detector (escort 9500ci with laser shifters) to fend off overly aggressive enforcement around here. (Finished yesterday) 4. Tint to keep out intense 9000 foot elevation uv light. (Done today 3m 35 on hatch and sides). It looks sweeeeeet! 5. High altitude Uprev dyno tune. (Scheduled for Thursday). Sea level map one. Mountain map two. Fun! 6. 25 row Stillen oil cooler to cope with thinner (less cooling mass) air. Also Thursday. 7. Bonus "mod" I finally got around to sanding and polishing my headlights which were yellowing a bit. Lets call it a winter driving visibility mod lol. All and all the move from California has given me awesome justification to go a bit nuts on the Z!!!! Life is good.
