The Nissan GREEN Coolant is a different product altogether than the Nissan BLUE Coolant. At the dealership, the green stuff is out on the shelf for sale, but the blue stuff he had to go to the back to get. The blue is supposed to be longer lasting. The manual (specifically pg 8-8) states that mixing the two will lower the life expectancy of the factory-filled blue fluid. Of course, if you aren't pushing the change interval, this shouldn't make any difference. |
Thanks for the 411, knew the blue was the better of the two. Now recalling I know I had the upper radiator hose replaced so they may have flushed it then. Dunno....gonna have to check service receipts to retract...for the record BLUE is the way to go.
