No problem man, and ya I did drive all over town today, almost 100 mile round trip to do all those shots. And the downtown skyline pic is at the event center parking garage on 1st street right when you cross over the lake, the other parking garage shot was at the top deck of the oasis parking garage

Anyone know if I can use this to top it off? I bought it just over 2 yrs ago, and it is still sealed

Per the 2011 owner's manual pg 8-8:

( Click to show/hide )
The life expectancy of the factory-fill coolant is 105,000 miles (168,000 km) or 7 years. Mixing any other type of coolant other than Genuine NISSAN Long Life Antifreeze/Coolant (blue) , including Genuine NISSAN Long Life Antifreeze/Coolant (green), or the use of nondistilled water will reduce the life expectancy of the factory-fill coolant.

I read this to say that you shouldn't expect to get 100K miles out of your coolant if you mix it with anything other than the Nissan blue coolant. I'm definitely not going to use the cheap stuff in my garage, so I guess I'll wait until Monday to pick some up at the dealer.

You're absolutely right. I think it would be fine to mix them even if Nissan does say it will shorten the life of the fluid. And I will probably have the coolant changed well before the 105K mile (or 7 years) recommendation anyway.

However, I'm a stickler with certain things and because of the great variety of info on this subject, I'm just going to stick with the Nissan blue stuff - I like the blue anyway, hence my sn I have no need for the car today except to back it out of the garage to wash it and then pull back in. On Monday I will drive straight to the dealer, watch them top it off for me for free, and buy a jug of the stuff

Detailed the car today and removed the tow lights.

When I got to the wheel where I had a flat (dealership remounted the new tire), I found huge symmetrical scratches and a couple chips all the way through the clear and the powder. Also looks like the little metal tab that's inside the rim (has some numbers on it - not sure what it's for) was removed and very sloppily replaced with a new one. I know this because there's glue everywhere and the new metal tab isn't powdered.

I left a very angry message for the service manager at the dealership and honestly, I'm afraid to go in there tomorrow because of what I might do.

I told them MULTIPLE times those wheels were powdered and that they needed to be careful.

Any suggestions as to how I might handle this? I will not let the dealership fix this. It needs to be fixed by the guy who did the wheels - the shop is a f'ing hour away and I'm going to be at least 2-3 days without a car to get it fixed I'd guess.

Dealerships always have a mobile repair guy that they call on just for stuff like this. You said they're powdered, as in powdercoated? At you to running OEM wheels (I haven't checked your albums yet)?

Edit: just checked your album. Damn, that sh!t looks sick! It's powdered? Sounds like they're going to have to play for a re-powder man.

I know hindsight is a bitch...don't ever let the dealer touch your wheels.

Powdered and clearcoated. All I wanted them to do was mount a freaking tire. It's not rocket science.

...and as I said, there is no way in hell I'm letting them touch those wheels again.

*Edit: Yes, they're the OEM nismo wheels.
