After getting the column lock replaced under warranty last week, installed the column lock bypass harness.

Just finished 6 hours in a flight simulator now I'm tired and missing my Z. I can't wait to be finished commuting half way across the continent back to by car.

I watched the top gear episode about the 370 on Netflix last night. It's not a bad review, but they compaired it to a BMW z3 roadster. And they liked the Beamer better... What????

I'm switching to overhauling.

American or BBC? Because the American version isn't worth $hit.

BBC season 13 episode 6
BMW z4 vrs 370Z
(The 370 turns out a slightly faster track time btw)

The hosts like the BMW more and say our Z is loud and brutal and unpleasant to drive. (Of course I kind if like it rough so...)

Overall it is a fun episode though and is on Netflix.

If I recall they are driving a 2010 6mt touring and liked the synchro-rev-matcherizer. Also the host admitted the Z was a lot of fun to drive. I think his objection came down to it being too brutal for a daily driver.

Clarkson only liked the 240Z all the rest were worse. The (370) car is not refined enough for his fancy.

Paraphrase: It is his last line, Even though the Z is faster, better handling, and cheaper, we say get the BMW.

I really did like that episode. Funny stuff. Not really a critical review of the Z, just a preference toward his more "refined" tastes. I'll take my "hairy chested zed" any day.

100% Also, it seemed like some of the reasons he DIDN'T like the Z were the same reasons I DO like the Z
