Changed my tranny oil to Motul. Noticeable difference. You'll like it.

I thought first service wasn't required until 48280km/30000miles? I mean you can change it prior without issue but unless upgrading to Redline or something then I would wait.

I am at 14,500. The track makes me think I am burning up my car faster so I just think I should.

let us know how the tranny feels after a switch to redline. people.report mixed results. and 350z crowd says to stick with OEM.because aftermarket oils make it.more notchy.

I went to Redline MT-85 at 15,000 miles last March (2011). It made a major difference in shifting smoothness -- major. I have OCD with paranoid tendencies (with mild to moderate asocial features) so I am changing it out, again with MT-85) next week or so. I have almost 20,000 miles on the oil.

Finally fixed fuel leak. Who would of thought that two small screws caused all this mess. I spent $60+ on gaskets and it came down to two 8 cent screws.

Took my car out for the first time in months this past weekend and I was parked somewhere to come back to a mild hit and run. Someone hit my rear bumper and cracked the fiberglass. Such BS. Especially after all the money I put into to get fixed.

I haven't ever stirred the pot around here but...

I switched back to Nissan's oem MT oil because the Redline MT-85 started causing 2nd gear to grind. No more grinds

I read a lot on the 350z forum about their experiences too. I'm bewildered to say the least, but it seems like some transmissions like the Redline and some like the oem stuff. Its EXACTLY like a Twilight Zone episode
