What did you do with your Z today V (ON TOPIC DISCUSSION ONLY)

Cleaned her insides with Meguiars ultimate. Wiped the engine bay a bit with a dry cloth. Guess which task I did with the cloth below. O.o uploadfromtaptalk1395447709156.jpg

Installed Swift springs today. I read tons of reviews of people saying the ride was actually smoother than stock despite these springs having a higher spring rate. This is what drew me to them. I must say...I'm impressed!

I also tried to bolt on my z1 20mm spacers and quickly realized that none of my 21mm sockets would fit in the hole to tighten the 'inner lugs'. I even tried the lug wrench in the trunk and still didn't fit. Am I just incredibly stupid or is there a special socket you guys are using on these bolt on spacers? There is barely any space, I don't see how any socket would fit.

Drove 280 miles (Houston) to get her tuned. When I left the shop, it was as if I was in a totally different car. The tuner used a Mustang Dyno and allowed me in the shop with him during the entire process. I was a little disappointed with the final numbers, but the throttle response and increase in power made the numbers irrelevant.

Good job on the Swifts. Now you are in the cool kids club.

Wiped her down a bit. Just got back from a ride and noticed a rock chipped my paint on the bumper near the headlight. Also chipped my windshield...fcking road debris.

Eventually I'm going to respray the front bumper. Once that's done, I'll add the clear bra.

Time to get my a55 of the couch and start my ultimate detail. I've forked over a good chunk of hard earned $$ to the chemical guys on gear, chems, and rags to detail my Z -- not to mention the countless hours watching how to videos from the chem guys and the junkman.
