you'll probably be fine. we got hit with a pretty cold winter this time and hit -20F a few times. typical winter day is -5F to about 10F for us.

Installed oem nismo cloth seat covers, just the same as the base but i like the color and embroidered nismo thing and for $150 i couldnt stop myself

I weighed out whether to do it your (Modshcakcs way) or have it sit where it does now. I may try it your way if this current spot becomes a bother. Where it's at now you cannot see any wires which was a bonus to me. I do wish it was ever so slightly higher but, it functions well and is well hidden.
