The 370z base and touring is like naked compared to the Nismo regarding performance, it will be useless to swap all the nismo stuff for other model...
You gotta decide what you wanna really do because if you will mod the Nismo you going to end throwing out the oem parts (wasted money) So i would recommend you to get a base or touring and do the mods but if you wanna keep the Nismo stock go ahead. Remember that maybe you will want to change the exhaust and rims...Just a thought.

yea, Im not going to buy new so the price difference is way less than that. plus i would probably keep the rims for winter, or sell them and the stock exhaust. I just really like the nismo body style I guess. still haven't made a final decision, even used the nismos are still like 3-5k more than base. and like you said, I could easily buy the trunk/wing for the base model.
