Tuner shop in Vegas or Socal?
I'm looking for a good shop to install a CAI, exhaust, and tune my 370Z. I live in Las Vegas but would go to southern California if there are no good shops here. Thanks in advance.

Stillen in Costa Mesa can do all that as well. Ask for Seb at Specialty Z and Sam Camarillo at Stillen. |
I've done a lot of research and plan on making the trek to see Seb at specialty z when done modding. He seems to be an expert with uprev and have yet to read anything negative. Yeah, it's 5 hrs away but it will get done right the first time without having to 'give this a try'.

I was in the same situation about 10yrs ago in NY and needed a 3/4 system put on a mint C4 corvette, basically any good muffler or exhaust shop can install it, the main thing to consider is what the quality of the mechanics are that will work on your car.
The other main requirement is that they have a proper lift to use on your car that won't damage the car while lifting it. Also the shop may require extra hardware to install the parts, bolts hangers etc. Small shops will not have this, extra hardware. One good shop in Las Vegas that get all my complicated BS work done at is PEP BOYS on Sunset , most of their mechanics are from the east coast and have at least 15yrs. of experience and you can easily watch them and if they need extra hardware they will have it in stock. Just look out for the little shops that look like they only have 1 tool box a portable lift and a bunch of illegals working for them. I almost had one of these shops install a leather interior in my Z recommended by the dealer, but after surveying their shop and seeing how they had 3 possible illegals, using dewalt drill motors to remove all the screws and , big screw drivers to hack up the interior on someones new pick up. I decided to pass on the leather interior by these hacks. |
Intake and exhaust are easy enough to do on your own. I did my exhaust in the Vegas heat in 30 min. Getting a tune, you'll need to go to California or Arizona. let me know if u need help. I'm local. There is also a good performance shop in town, paladin. They could do your install but why when its so easy to do. They do work for the local z club in town.
