Nice thing about this is that the 370z is a pretty unique car. It could quite possible be the stolen set.

ms.blackcherry- well, i suppose insurance is suppose to give you piece of mind...

my best insurance is my beater. i take that when i go to the mall/restaurants, etc.

(but i know honda alloys are very popular in the black market too

)

better to use a distinct ID number so it's not so obvious to the bad guys. they are more likely to think it's factory marking and leave it alone. Had my jeep wheels and tires stolen when i was 18 (when 32" rubber was HUGE) and eventually caught the guy but could not prove it. A unique ID marked on the inner barrel of the wheel WOULD have proven their origin.

probably the OEM locks though, not the aftermarket ones. those are harder to come by though the "pro" thieves probably have them too. just like a locked door on your house, the lock only keeps honest people honest.
