When I have my key in the same pocket as my iPhone, it doesn't seem to give me much range. When I switch pockets, it works much better. Anyone else

When I have my key in the same pocket as my iPhone, it doesn't seem to give me much range. When I switch pockets, it works much better.
Anyone else experience this? Wonder if the iPhone is interfering or if it is just blocking the signal. |

its definately blocking the signal, especially if the iphone is on top of the key fob in the pocket. mine wouldnt even open the door if my phone is on top of it.

Of course it will interfere both are sending and receiving signals and likley on the same 2.4GHz frequency. Same thing that happens if you put your phone on WiFI between your laptop and wireless router. It will weaken the signal to your laptop or possibly block it completely unless you have a 802.11n router and NIC.
