Little accident. Might have a leak.

I was drifting this back road that I always mess around in I tried to record it and got camera shy or something but I spun out and got sent into a dirt sidewall. I ended up on top of it I got my friends truck to pull me out.

Question is it looks like theres water leaking behind the right front tire. A buddy says its from the a/c but I still dont like that it leaks anything. Any Idea where this is coming from. Also there was power steering fluid but the canister itself looks fine(probably just leaked some from the jerking from the accident. I know this thread is worthless without pics but I just wanted to see if anyone had any idea if the water was from the radiator or something. Its 106f in Riverside right now and I don't wanna overheat the car. Right now driving the temps are at 220.

Ill post pics and the video later when I have time. Im about to go to work. Thanks in advance for any replies.

After watching the video a few times myself in slow motion the mistake I made was counter-steering for the next turn to late.

that probably is your a/c condesation. touch it and smell it to verify if it's water.

DjSquall 08-07-2012 04:29 PM

Sounds like your a/c water.

K so were still waiting on the video of you f*cking up

Easiest way is to check the levels in the reservoir... if they are full and stay that way, you are just looking at condensation.

Obvious side note, maybe don't drift on a dirt road with a brand new Z unless of course you like paying to get things repaired. If you crack it up and are found to be grossly negligent, things start getting interesting with insurance.

It should be easy to tell what fluid it is.

before drifting, I'd prepare... really well, tires, breaks, fluids etc, like a track day.

and no dirt ... ever
