curious question not meant to be a poll
 

How many of you guys save every single scrap of document's that you have done to your cars. From tinting to car wash receipts. I save everything and keep it behind the passenger seat in a binder.

Me too, keep all receipts in folder, plus a handwritten log on all maintenance with dates. No car wash receipts though, my cars only insist on me washing them :icon17:

it's in my receipts folder in the cabinet along with all the other stuff the wife and i buys...

sometimes it's good to lose track of your purchases. :icon17:

I do the same since Ive owned it. Im the second owner though.

I have everything. I keep it all in a file folder - color coded. :)

I don't keep anything unless it pertains to some kind of warranty.

I keep everything, either in the glovebox or a folder in the home office. Rather be safe than sorry. I've got some quick detailer and MF cloths in the compartment behind the passenger :tup:

Yep with all my vehicles, & when I purchase used I look for someone who has taken the time to do so as well. It's nice knowing the history, mods & maintenance of the vehicle.

I keep everything except for most gas receipts.

:iagree: Ditto. All receipts on all Purchases/Repairs/Maintenances ...etc are kept in a file for each vehicle I own/have owned. Helps out when I have to look back to see at what mileage I did the particular service, and what services I did, not to mention it makes a great impression on whomever you are selling your car to at the end, thereby keeping your resale value a little higher...! I always ask for receipts and such when I am purchasing a used vehicle, and am very disappointed when they can't prove to me one thing they did on the car, or when! :ugh2:

Mine is the same way, the Z has it's own folder in the cabinet.

On losing track, I like that one. I also like the one where you make it look like you had it on the shelf for a while and just haven't gotten around to doing it/using it :tup:

I think this is why some of my friends think I am crazy :ugh2: I am pretty sure I have 95-99% of my gas receipts even :rofl2: I have every thing. I still have the window sticker.

SIDENOTE: I still need to get the window sticker laminated:shakes head: can't believe I haven't done that yet!

+1 same for me. I don't want to see how one month I pay $60 for a fill up and then next fill up go up to $80.
