My first test drive was after I paid for the car and they handed me the keys. My wife thought I was nuts buying a car without test driving it first. I've been waiting 20 years for a new Z and knew exactly what I wanted. I found the exact package I was looking for on the mainland so I made a deal on the phone and went and picked it up a few days later. A little nerve racking at first not having driven a stick for eight years but its like riding a bike....
