I use one but ONLY if the car had been just clean. Even if the car just has brake dust on it i don't use it. That's the only way a car cover scratches

I generally keep my Z's covered -- the 240 has an outdoor cover and the 370 a very soft indoor cover. It keeps me from having to use the car duster too often although I do brush off the covers before I remove them.

Is the black one for the 370z an oem car cover. If so is that only for indoor or is it ok for out door sun exposure. How much was it?

Does anybody have any feedback on the silverguard in the rain or if its worth buying its expensive but supposively great for all elements.

The cover came with the 370 (it is a 40th anniversary). You can get them though -- it is a Nissan part and it fits like a glove. Here is a link, but they are available form other sources if you look around.

nope. brake dust accumulates around the back of the car as well. most times it goes unnoticed, but since i have a silver car i can see it more easily

i will be using this for inside the garage, have you gone through winter and summer with the cover, if so, how has it held up? im worried about the cover scratching it, and worse of all, condensation and have the car be all wet under the cover in the summer, AND MORE WORSE wet under the cover in our freezing winter, and having the cover stick to the paint and tear the paint off the car with the cover.

Yes I use an indoor only cover. It was expensive and worth it. The cover goes on only after I wash the car.

I cover the car anytime the car is clean (or reasonably clean) -- winter or summer. Keep in mind it is an indoor cover (the one I use for the 370). The 240's cover is an outdoor version. I don't worry about scratches -- both covers have an extremely soft lining. Besides, I only use them when the cars are clean, like I wrote earlier.

I only use my indoor cover when stored for winter....however lately I've only been able to drive my Z every 3 days or so.

The condo parking here gets quite dusty, might not be a bad idea to use it like Onzedge so that when I do get to drive, she's spotless
