But... I would go with the better deal because, essentially its the same car.
Why would you want something that ugly growing on you?

Shoot....
So now im thinking instead of a touring/sp PW z 6MT for 42k walk out with Everything
Just go for a 2013 base/sp pw 6mt for 35-36k walk out....WHAT SHOULD I DO BABY BOO
How into creature comforts are you? If you are old like myself it is important. If you are young and $6,000+ saved by buying the non touring. I think I'd skip the touring, although I did buy the touring.

Every time I'm at the track I wish I'd skipped the extra weight. Every other day I'm glad I did not.

Good luck. You win either way.

One good thing about this car is that the base cloth seats are very nice IMHO.

sigh i also feel like the resale on the 2012 touring will be better than the 2013 assuming future generations dont like the look and are looking for a 2012.
Also i keep hearing shifting in the z is hard, the z is my first manual car so the learning curve might not be as steep seeing as i dont need to get "used" to this box aside from anothers

My Z is my first standard vehicle I've ever drove, and I learned it rather fast. I dont understand why people say its "hard to drive".

It doesn't matter what any of us like. Buy the one YOU like the best. If the 2013 style turns you on, BUY IT!

For what it's worth, I like the idea of an awesome deal on the 2012 a lot more. Everything about it is the same except for how it looks.

Its not hard to drive, but it is definitely not the smothest tranny out there. Clutch play is definitely strange with some dead spots, and the 1st to 2nd shift is gritty as all hell. Replacing the clutch helper spring helps some.

I actually heard that it doesnt help much, i read that nothing can really solve the tranny issue no matter what do to it

It's not really hard to drive once you get used to it, but it is harder to get used to than some. I've been driving sticks for years and there are some you'll get in and you get the idea how quick to let the clutch up and all that within just a few shifts, and the Z takes a little more practice, that's all.

Yes both the new colors, the coupe and the vert along with the 13 nismo and 13 GT-R. It's really personally taste and no one can make the choice for you.

The synchro makes someone who has never driven stick seem like a pro.
