There has been tests of the standard 370Z 0-60 from 4.7 all the way to 5.2sec. The Nismo weighs more or less the same as the base sport but has +18hp...unless it defies physics it will be the fastest of the 370Zs. Lets wait for more reviews to judge.

With that being said, I'm happy with my touring+sport and would rather spend the extra $ to customize to my liking
my z IS faster than the nismo lol
oh you ment stock
well so far i did spent less and made my car equal to performance than the nismo
so yes i am happy with mine as well

Im definately getting one. I been waiting for the Nismo since I first read about it. To me, I am really digging the looks. The front end looks way better than the stock fangs and the back end with the diffuser and functional wing looks awesome. I dont get why C&D complains about the rear wing being all "import tuner or riced out"...take a look at the wings that comes on the GT3 and GT2, those are bigger than the Nismo Zs. Anyways, for those who really need nav, there is always aftermarket and a set of Alcantara Recaros will always be way sexier than the stock perminission(sp?). Also the Nismo exhaust can be replaced and sold for a good price to someone with a regular 370 looking for an exhaust system

Like someone else said, I wouldn't judge the Nismo's performance based on one magazine review, although I personally was hoping the performance would at least have been to the point of being better than a normal Z as to not have the need for another review to alleviate the Nismo's performance concerns.

Yup, supposedly... You will spend 40K but you won't enjoy it as you'd like on the track.

I'm talking about value for the dollar you spent. Sure it can run x.xx track lap time, but all that won't matter when your oil temp is excessively high and electronically limited (factory safety measure). It is advertised as "track oriented". And from factory... no doubt that it is... but only for certain amount of time on the race track.

I believe Car & driver mentioned in their article that it wasn't broken in yet, implying that we have to wait for more mileage.

I love my 370z touring but I actually like the Nismo wing ... I do want to test drive one tho just to see the difference in handling and speed ... And I think if your going to throw on Mods anyways might as well start with the 370 unless you plan to get a NISMO version and roll stock ...

Get rid of that hideous bodykit. What is it with ricer bodykits? Get rid of it! It makes the car look cheaper, a try hard. The standard sports touring whatever you guys call it over there is a looker. Nissan what the hell were you thinking?
